Specialty vehicle manufacturer Rev Group appointed Amy Campbell as SVP and CFO effective April 15, the company announced last week.
Campbell succeeded Mark Skonieczny, who was appointed Rev Group’s president and CEO in May 2023. Skonieczny had served double duty as both the chief executive and interim CFO until Campbell was hired, according to April 15 financial filings.
Skonieczny’s predecessor, Rod Rushing, abruptly resigned from his president and CEO role in January 2023.
Before joining Rev Group, Campbell held CFO roles at various companies, most recently building materials makers ASC Engineered Solutions and for BrandSafway’s commercial and industrial division, according to her LinkedIn.
She also held various executive positions at heavy machinery giant Caterpillar during her 23-year tenure at the equipment manufacturer. She started as an intern and worked her way up to VP of investor relations and chief audit officer.
“Amy is an experienced and highly respected finance executive,” Skonieczny said in a statement. “With her broad financial experience, she will provide important leadership and guidance to REV Group.”
Campbell will receive a base salary of $500,000 and a one-time sign-on bonus of $150,000, according to financial filings.
Campbell will also be eligible for Rev Group’s management incentive plan, which targets 75% of her base salary and has a maximum payout of 200%.
Additionally, Campbell will receive stock awards equivalent to $500,000, authorizing equal installments on Dec. 31 of each year from 2024 to 2027.
Campbell’s arrival comes after the specialty vehicle manufacturer began implementing initiatives to improve its portfolio and cut costs.
In January, the company announced plans to exit the bus manufacturing sector by selling its subsidiary Collins Bus to Forest River Bus for $303 million. Rev Group also plans to wind down operations and close its ElDorado National (California) bus manufacturing plant in Riverside, California, by September.
